Bloomsburg Rolls Past Seton Hill in Field Hockey

GREENSBURG--Samantha Kropa (Tunkhannock/Lackawanna Trail) and Brieann Wolfe (Perkasie/Pennridge) each scored two goals to lead the Bloomsburg University field hockey team to an 8-0 win over Seton Hill University on Sunday.

Kropa go the Huskies going just 58 seconds into the game when she scored on an assist from Jamie Vanartsdalen (Huntingdon Valley/Lower Moreland). The Huskies would go on to score four more goals in the opening 35 minutes of play with Wolfe netting her first goal late in the first half.

In the second half Kropa scored just 1:25 into play, then Wolfe capped the scoring for the afternoon with a goal in the 54th minute.

The Bloomsburg defense was outstanding once again limiting the Griffins to just two shots on goal.

The Huskies, now 4-0, visit East Stroudsburg on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
